BEFORE YOU BOOK
Almost the entire crew at Sycamore Cycles live in Western North Carolina for one reason and one reason only, THE RIDING! We love to escape to the forest whenever possible, and there are few better ways to experience this unique landscape than by bike! Whether you’re planning to ride in Pisgah Forest or Dupont, we have a killer fleet of full suspension and hardtail mountain bikes to choose from!
Please take into consideration that the amount of rainfall we see annually classifies this area as a temperate rainforest. We see an average of 60+ inches of rain per year! Have you ever been unable to ride your mountain bike for a month because it hasn’t stopped raining, we have! In an effort to combat the rain, preserve our trails, and pay respect to our local trail crews, we do not rent bikes if we feel the trails are not in the right condition. We understand this can be inconvenient if you are traveling to Brevard, or if you had made your reservation far in advance. Should we decide to not allow rentals out on a day you have a reserved a bike, we will contact you as soon as possible with an offer to reschedule or refund your reservation.
Under NO circumstances are our bikes to be used in any event or race.
All bikes are to be picked up and dropped off at the location the bike was rented from. You are responsible to transport your rental bikes safely, to and from the shop. We offer an additional delivery charge to transport rental bikes to Dupont State Forest. We have a variety or racks and tailgate pads to reserve along with your bike!
*Call 828-877-5790 for delivery availability*
Rental period starts when we open our doors and ends 1 HOUR prior to closing. You can arrive as early as 7:30am (Sundays at 9am, except in Hendersonville) on the day of your reservation to pick up your bike and grab a cup of Crank Coffee!
Come get on your next sweet rental Bike here at Sycamore Cycles. We have Mountain and some all-road bikes to meet your needs.

The 2020 Specialized Enduro
The Enduro Elite combines peerless downhill performance with surprisingly quick acceleration. The Elite delivers blistering speed, mega-travel length and components that're big on performance. Get ready to go fast.
If the Enduro looks like its sibling, the Demo, it's because they share plenty of downhill DNA. The Enduro rolls fast on 29er hoops and boasts 170 millimeters of front and rear suspension courtesy of an all new-design that obliterates the biggest hits with ease.
ASTONISHINGLY FAST...UP AND DOWN THE TRAIL
Stomp on the pedals and the new Enduro accelerates far quicker than you're expect possible from a downhill bruiser. We pulled out all the engineering stops and made the Enduro an incredibly efficient pedaling machine. The end result? Less bobbing. More speed.
